Holy Week.
Many of us are exhuasted, overwhelmed, hurting, and confused. Life is swirling in chaos, and it feels like we are not teathered to anything. It turned out different than we hoped. The reality of the situation is much heavier than they told us it would be. There is the word around town, but can we believe it? The pain of dissapointment makes hoping again seem too hard. What is next? What is the next right move?
Friends, I see you.
As we continue our journey this Holy Week, know that you do not go alone. I created some prayer stations that you can do at home. There is both a text and a podcast option. It is my prayer that they meet you where you are. The hope of an empty tomb is our story, but it does not discredit all the pain and heartache it takes to get there.
Encounter Jesus as you journey with him through the passtion narrative.
Beloved pilgrim,
as you begin this sacred journey through the story of Holy Week,
may your heart be open,
your steps be unhurried,
and your spirit be attentive to the presence of Christ.May you walk these stations not as a tourist of holy things,
but as a seeker—
one who longs to meet Jesus in the silence,
in the sorrow,
in the sacrifice,
and in the hope.May each pause become a prayer.
May each word invite reflection.
May each symbol speak truth to your soul.As you remember the road He walked—
from palms to supper, from garden to cross—
may you discover the love that walks with you still.Go with blessing.
Go with curiosity.
Go with courage.
And may the One who enters the city in peace
walk beside you,
every step of the way.Amen.
