Hi Friends!
My word for 2022 was wholeness. When someone asked me what I meant by wholeness, I said I wanted to feel like my soul took a deep exhale. Little did I know that the next 12 months would be full of more anxiety and change than any other season of my life.
This week I stumbled across this prayer by Jan Richardson, and I want to share it with you. It was a full circle moment for me and my journey of wholeness this year. Wholeness is a journey of grace, one I think I will be on for many years to come.
A Prayer for Choosing
What we choose
changes us.
Who we love
transforms us.
How we create
remakes us.
Where we live
reshapes us.
So in all our choosing,
O God, make us wise;
in all our loving,
O Christ, make us bold;
in all our creating,
O Spirit, give us courage;
in all our living
may we become whole.
Thanks for being on this journey with me!
always grace,
Amber Lea

This Week on the Growth & Grace Podcast:
— Hope is more than wishful thinking. Okay, but does hope change anything? What does hope look like?
We are in the season of Advent, which is a time of anticipation and preparation for Christmas. There are four traditional Advent themes: peace, hope, love, and joy. Today I'm talking about hope. I'm sharing a little about what hope is and how we can cultivate hope in our lives.
Question for transformation:
I believe that transformation happens when we allow ourselves to engage with good questions. Below is your weekly question for transformation. Think about it, journal it, or talk about it with a friend. If you want, share your response in the comment section.
What does hope require of me?
