Hey friend!
You’re still here! I’m so glad you decided to stick around. It means the world to me.
This past week in church I preached on the Prophet Jeremiah’s call story. You can check out the sermon here if you want, but I can’t stop thinking about this prophet.
Jeremiah was a prophet to Judah when their whole world was falling a part. We’re talking serious trauma — war, economic hardship, famine, death, the destruction of the temple, exile, and so much more.
And it was in that very difficult season of Judah’s history that Jeremiah was called to be a prophet.
Friends, I know that many of us have been living in a very difficult season. So much is uncertain. We’ve struggle, collectively and individually. It is easy for me in seasons of darkness to lose hope, to focus on something else, or to avoid the situation all together.
The refrain repeating in my mind is that despite it all, we are still called.
In the midst of chaos, there are still glimpses of hope. There are cracks where the light breaks in. Grace is still holding us. We are being led to something, and are part of something bigger than ourselves.
I think that saying yes in the dark is one of the hardest things we can do. So I want you to hear these truths. Repeat them. Let them sink down into your soul.
You are not alone.
You matter.
You are called.
I don’t have all the answers, but I do want to journey with you. So let’s take a deep breath, grab the hand of the person next to you, and allow grace lead. Together, we can do this.
always grace,
Amber Lea

I am so proud of you for doing the hard thing. It is not easy to put yourself out there, admit you need help and take action. You have literally done the HARDEST part of this whole thing- take the first step. This does not mean that the rest of the journey will be easy, but I have 100% faith that YOU can do this!
This week I discovered Rob Riccardo on a random Spotify playlist, and I’ve really enjoyed listening to his music.
The Growth & Grace podcast surpassed 60K downloads! Woohoo! Check out this week’s episode:
p.s. I know that you see vulnerability in the title and think, HARD PASS. Trust me, it’s not as scary as you think. :)
I believe that most of our growth comes when we ask good questions. So below is your weekly question for transformation. Think about it, journal it, talk it through with a friend. If you want, share your response the comment section.
